About Me

Hi! I’m Dhiraj. I am a landscape photographer based in New Zealand who is driven by a deep connection to nature and the stories hidden within the land. Through my lens, I strive to capture not just what is seen, but also what is felt—the silence of mountains, the rhythm of oceans, and the fleeting light that transforms ordinary moments into timeless memories.

When I am chasing a fleeting glimpse of snow-capped peaks playing hide and seek with the mist, that moment captures what photography means to me—patience, wonder, and the joy of being present in nature.

My work is guided by patience, observation, and an appreciation for solitude. Each photograph is a reflection of my journey to slow down, look deeper, and preserve the beauty of places as they are—untouched and unaltered. I believe every landscape holds a voice, and my goal is to let that voice be seen and heard through imagery. When people ask what gear I use, I smile and answer: “My eyes.”

I’m drawn to moody skies, flowing rivers, untamed forests, and people who live life as though there’s no tomorrow.

For me, photography is more than an image—it’s a story, a feeling, and a piece of the world we carry with us.
